I loved starting in Hanoi with its lakes and old streets, then cruising Ha Long Bay which was simply stunning. Hue and Hoian gave me a real feel of the country’s history and traditions, and Ba Na Hills with the Golden Bridge was a fun highlight. Ho Chi Minh City was energetic, and the Mekong Delta gave a glimpse into local life with its floating markets. Ending on the beaches of Phu Quoc was the perfect way to relax after all the exploring. Great balance of sightseeing, culture, and downtime!

At one point, I even tried making jars at Thach Ha ceramic Pottery village… let’s just say the locals laughed more than I did!
