Its creator himself announces that he will only be completed 60 to 90 years after his death. Its uniqueness, its whiteness, makes it a unique temple of its kind. In vihaan a fresco mixing Buddhist codes with Matrix, Star Wars, the bombing of the Twin Towers in New York and even Kung Fu Panda stands out from the usual decorations such as monuments.

Move to Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple) The Blue Temple or Wat Rong Seua Ten literally translates to ‘temple of the dancing tiger.’ It was built on a site where tigers were said to have jumped over the river.

Then a short drive to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs.

I joined Asia King Travel’s Vietnam-Thailand adventure thinking I’d just tick off some famous spots, but oh boy, it turned out to be a full-blown cultural feast! The guides? Absolute legends: funny, knowledgeable, and they somehow knew the best photo angles and the best snacks. Ten out of ten, would happily trade my couch for another Asia King trip any day!

Excellent
Spending 15 days exploring Vietnam and Thailand with Asia King Travel felt like flipping through the most colorful pages of a living travel journal. I wandered from the quiet mountain trails of Sapa to the glittering temples of Bangkok, and somehow managed to eat my weight in pho and pad thai along the way. The blend of city buzz, peaceful villages, and genuine cultural moments made every day feel fresh and unforgettable. Honestly, I came for the sights but left with stories and maybe a mild addiction to Thai milk tea...
