Pick up at 7:30 a.m. from the hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Cuc Phuong National Park, located southwest of Hanoi. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours to Cuc Phuong National Park, a 25,000-hectare primary forest with typical tropical forest characteristics, cool and humid climate, and rich flora and fauna.

We will first visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their habitats. Then we will continue towards the center of the park, stopping to discover the "Cave of Primitive Man", a place housing archaeological sites dating back thousands of years. We will have lunch and rest in a house on stilts in the center of the park.

Then we will take a short hike in the national park to admire the scenery and learn about the flora and fauna of this oldest forest in Vietnam, up to the giant ancient tree in the middle of the jungle.

Finally, don't miss a rest at Mac Lake, located in the heart of Cuc Phuong National Park. The calm and freshness of Lake Mac will bring you back to nature, dissipating any fatigue after the long hike in the forest. While walking around Mac Lake, you might encounter many colorful butterflies, a beauty associated with Cuc Phuong National Park.
