The 19-day trekking trip in Laos was truly a journey of youth! My friends and I spent days wandering through hidden valleys, through dense forests, and seeing with our own eyes wild animals that we had only seen on TV. Each destination had a story – from ancient sacred temples to traditional rituals that left us in awe of their uniqueness. The feeling of climbing the mountain and standing on the top, looking down at the majestic scenery, was like a dream! If you love exploring, love nature, and want to live every moment to the fullest, then this tour is for you!

I have to say that this tour to explore remote areas in Laos is exactly my style – wild, original, and extremely “cool”! Luang Prabang is peaceful and full of culture, while Muang Khua is like a hidden pearl in the mountains and forests, where I can truly feel the rustic lifestyle of the locals. There are sweaty trekking sections, but the feeling of touching beautiful landscapes that no one knows about is incomparable. This tour was born for those who love to explore “off the beaten path", like me!

What an incredible 15-day adventure through Northern Laos! I was blown away by the elegance of Luang Prabang — all the golden temples and peaceful vibes were next level. We also got to explore Vientiane, which had this cool mix of history and modern city life. But the highlight for me was staying overnight in a village near Luang Namtha. It felt so real and private, like we were part of the community for a while. Honestly, this tour makes the perfect balance between cultural discovery and local immersion. Recommend if you want to see the real Laos beyond the usual tourist spots!

A deep dive into the real Cambodia

This wasn’t your typical Angkor Wat trip (though we did end in Siem Reap, and the temples were still magical). It was more about discovering Cambodia's hidden side. I especially loved Mondulkiri for its cool climate and elephants, and Ratanakiri for its wild, raw beauty. This trip really opened my eyes to how diverse Cambodia is beyond the touristy spots. If you’re looking for a trip that’s a little slower, a little quieter, Laos might just be your vibe. My journey started in Luang Prabang, I could feel the peaceful energy of the place. And then there’s Kuang Si Falls. I’d seen photos before, but nothing compares to actually standing there. Turquoise pools, jungle vibes. Absolute magic. Thank you to Asia King Travel, the tour company that helped organize this entire journey. What I appreciated most was the flexibility. It didn’t feel like I was stuck in a rigid itinerary. Asia King Travel built in enough free time for us to explore at our own pace while still making sure we hit all the highlights.

It was a memorable trip for my family. The journey took us through many tourist attractions, including Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang, and Vientiane, with plenty of fun activities along the way. Our kids really enjoyed the time in Vang Vieng, where there was a waterfall and water games perfectly suited for them. We booked our Laos Tour with the route Luang Prabang - Vientiane - Nong Khiaw - Oudomxay. We had a 15 days trip but none of the time we got bored because our tour guide had in-depth knowledge and a sense of humor. He shared a lot of good stories about the culture and history of Laos that amazed us. On this incredible trip, we had a great chance to meet and talk with the warm locals and the bicycle trip was a highlight that I will never forget!
