Xom Ro Seawall

The Xom Ro Seawall in Phu Yen is known as a green moss paradise, located in Dong Tac, Phu Dong Ward, Tuy Hoa City. The lush green moss-covered stones that stretch along the Xom Ro embankment will undoubtedly impress visitors, creating an unique and exciting natural landscape.
The green moss began to appear during the time when Xom Ro Seawall frequently experienced storms and floods. To mitigate the effects of high tides and natural disasters, local residents built a seawall using square concrete blocks to ensure safety for everyone. Over time, these concrete blocks became covered in moss, unexpectedly creating a stunning natural artwork that even the locals hadn’t anticipated.

Check in at Xom Ro Seawall
The green moss-covered slopes at Xom Ro are part of a construction that the locals built to stop erosion. Every day, waves hit the concrete blocks, and over time, a layer of green moss grows on top of them. The moss sticks to the blocks very well once it dries. This natural process made an interesting and one-of-a-kind scene that has become a popular place for tourists to check in.
