To reach Hon Yen from Tuy Hoa City, you can choose one of the following routes:

  • From Tuy Hoa City and follow National Highway 1A for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Phu Diem T-junction. From there, turn right onto a concrete road or ask locals for directions to Nhon Hoi Village. From the village, you can take a boat to Hon Yen.
  • From Le Duan Street in the city center and drive along the coastal road through the communes of An Phu, An Chan, and An My to reach Yen Market. From there, head toward Hon Yen and hire a local boat to reach the island.

Best time to come 

It is best to visit around the beginning or end of the summer months. During this period, the tide gradually recedes in the afternoon, revealing a "sea-crossing path" that allows tourists to get closer to Hon Yen and really immerse themselves a truly authentic way.
