Troh Bu Botanic Garden, officially known as Troh Bu Ecotourism Area – Buon Don, was established in 1995 with the original purpose of being a botanical garden. In 2012, it began to be developed as a sanctuary for rare wild orchids.
From the collected orchid baskets that were grafted and nurtured, orchids have now started to grow back naturally on the forest trees in the garden, even regenerating from seeds (something rarely seen in orchid gardens). Today, it holds the largest collection of wild orchids in Vietnam.
