Here is a good plan for Lake Lak, Buon Me Thuot, you join an excursion in elephants and canoes. Vast, tranquil and bordered by hills, Lake Lak is the largest natural freshwater lake in the Central Highlands. It is home to the Mnong, a tribe who live around the island to fish in traditional canoes. Fifty-two kilometers south of Buon Ma Thuot, on the road to Da Lat, Lak Lake is a fantastic must-do excursion.

Meet at the hotel in Buôn Ma Thuot at 8:30 a.m. or at Buon Ma Thuot airport in the morning.

Visit to the Daklak ethnography museum : 3 spaces with a beautiful exhibition of traditional costumes with natural dyeing, agricultural tools, musical instruments and especially tools used to capture and domesticate wild elephants; biodiversity and local history.

Departure for Lake Lak, visit coffee and pepper plantations along the way, elephant ride in the Jun or Le village (M'nong ethnic group).

Lunch at the local restaurant then excursion by canoe on Lake Lak to the M'lieng village on the other side of the lake, walk in the M'nong village to discover the local life of the mountain people . Small gong and traditional dance show with M'nong in their dwelling on stilts.

Dinner and night at Lake Lak in the houses on stilts.

Breakfast. Return to Buon Ma Thuot .

Small climb on the largest granite rock in Viet Nam for a superb panoramic view. Take a look at the local market then at the Trung Nguyên coffee village: garden of varieties of coffee trees, museum, exhibition room, drink the best coffee in Viet Nam in the open air or in old Vietnamese houses (paid drink ). Lunch in town.

Afternoon, departure to visit the beautiful Drei Sap and Drei Anur waterfalls, 30 km from the city.

Night in Buon Ma Thuot.
