Then the quiet town of Nakhon Phanom surprised us. It was slow travel at its best. In the end, Thailand gave us more than beautiful photos.

We had an amazing time exploring these two beautiful countries. The itinerary was well-organized, giving us a balance between sightseeing and relaxation. A few things to keep in mind: some days were quite packed, so be prepared for early starts and a lot of walking. Boating to Bond Island made us dizzy too.
