Itinerary
Upon arrival at Chiang Rai Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and free time for your relaxation. Overnight in Chiang Rai

Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that, we visit the world-famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then a short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on the Mae Kok River from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. Transfer back to Chiang Rai. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Breakfast we depart for northern Thailand, a wooded, mountainous, and beautiful area. This morning, you will explore the surroundings and the first road you will take is the one that leads to Mae Salong. Climb up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations. You will taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region. From Doi Mae Salong, you will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo. Afterwards, continue to visit the Mae Fah Luang Botanical Garden.
On arrival in the Golden Triangle, take a boat trip on the Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos triangles.

After breakfast, drive to visit Chiang Saen, the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit the Opium Museum which shows opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch by your own account at the local restaurant at the Golden Triangle. Take a boat trip along the Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle.
Transfer to Chiang Mai for your overnight stay.

8:30 am - 2:00 pm (Join group): You will be picked up by the school team and join the Thai Farm Cooking for Thai cooking classes in English. It will be a great experience for you to learn the recipes and tips of this succulent Thai cuisine.

- Cooking jasmine rice and sticky rice
- Pound and make a curry paste from scratch
- Choose and make one curry paste, one curry and one soup
- Cook a noodle dish and sweet dessert according to the day
Afternoon take two-hour boat trip along the Mae Ping River is an excellent way to spend an afternoon, you get to watch as the scenery along the river changes, and you will also get to see many beautiful traditional teak houses as well as a lot of rural greenery along the way. Transfer back to the hotel for your free time. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

The morning will be mainly devoted to visiting the old city with a stop at the ancient wall, the moat, and a door of the old city. You will see the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh Temple, Wat Phan Tao Temple, and the temple Wat Chedi Luang. Then you will stroll along streets lined with traditional houses, where you take a rickshaw ride. From there, you'll be at the large Central Market Warorot.
Lunch at a local restaurant
Afternoon, visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous pagoda in Chiang Mai. It is reached after climbing a staircase of 290 steps with ramps representing two giant nagas. From the square, you can admire the panorama of the whole Chiang Mai Valley.
Then visit craft villages: lacquer factories, silk weaving, manufacture of umbrellas, wood carvings and goldsmith work.
Then transfer back to the hotel.
You are free to explore the night market in the evening.

08:00 – 08:30 : Pick up from your hotel or accommodation
08:30 : Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.
10:30 : Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.
11:00 : Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.
12:00 : Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.
13:00 : Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants, and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.
14:00 : Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants.
15:00 : Change clothes and say goodbye to the elephants
15:30 : Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.
17:00-17:30 : Drop off at your hotel or accommodation.

Our tour today starts with a transfer to Doi Inthanon National Park. It will take approximately 2 hours to the highest peak of Thailand – Doi Inthanon National Park. On arrival, we will spend 2-3 hours trekking through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail which leads us to a stunning hidden waterfall in the middle of the lush jungle.
Along the way before reaching the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, we will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, flower farm and the beautiful rice terraces. Discover the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village and taste a cup of locally grown coffee then move on to Vachiratharn Waterfall, a 70 metres high thunderous waterfall. Enjoy the cool fresh air at the waterfall before we continue back to the ground.
Afterwards, you will visit the beautiful architecture of Napamaytanidol Chidi and Phra Mahathat Napaphon Bhumisiri which were built to honour the 60th birthday of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Then transfer back to Chiang Mai.
