This Thailand Tour 13 days: Unforgettable Moments will discover not only the north but also the south of this beautiful country. You will visit some of the most beautiful monuments of Thailand and you will have the opportunity to see magical landscapes. You will be closer to the population, fauna and flora local. Although you make some very touristy sites, you will abandon the tourists to discover the real Thailand without the mass tourism. You will have the unique opportunity to find yourself at the golden triangle, meeting point of Thai, Burmese and Laotian borders.

Itinerary
We warmly welcome you on arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. We will pick you up with a comfortable vehicle to the center of Bangkok to check-in your hotel, then take your time to have a rest after a long flight and lunchtime.

This day, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.
Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube.
Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation.

Early in the morning, after having breakfast, we pay a visit to Meaklong Railway Market - a local market has grown up along the rail tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the sellers quickly clear their stalls, and set them up again when the train has passed.
We continue our way to Damnoen Saduak Floating market, which is specialized in trading fruits, vegetables, etc… by small boat. Nowadays, floating market still exists and develops more and more.
After lunch time, we will fall into the relax atmosphere in Rose Garden, a huge park built in the middle of rural scenery with the major attractions of Thai Village. Here you can enjoy the activities and shows like Thai boxing, elephant parade, etc.
Transfer straight to Kanchanaburi for overnight.

The first destination today is JEATH War Museum, a museum about the Death Railway built from 1942 to 1943. The museum exhibits photographs and illustrations reflecting the living condition of prisoners of war during that cruel time.
Nearby the JEATH War Museum is Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, holding almost 7.000 graves of victims of Japanese immurement during their construction for the Burma Railway.
Have lunch there and continue to Erawan Waterfall, considered as the most beautiful waterfall of Thailand.
We transfer to Ayutthaya, check-in the hotel and you are free to relax.

Having a breakfast and today we will pay a visit to some sites of Ayutthaya Historical Park. Being a ruin with many temples which characterize the handicraft architecture, the park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- Wat Phu Khao Thong is a massive pagoda towering in the middle of paddy fields. There is a high golden plated chedi on the top, which makes the pagoda outstanding.
- Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most important temple of Ayutthaya with 3 towers standing high together in Ceylonese style.
- Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit is the pagoda in which the bronze Buddha statue in the attitude of subduing Mara is situated. This is one of the biggest Buddha statue in Thailand.
- Wat Lokaya Sutha is considered as the sacred place for pilgrims since it’s famous for the reclining Buddha statue. It is also the most important relics in most of those in Wat Lokaya Sutha.
Heading back to Bangkok. En route, we visit the Royal Summer Palace in Bang Pa-in district.
Being a favorite resort of royal, the Royal Summer palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles.
The rest time of day is on your own.

The morning will be on your own to go to shopping or explore Bangkok by yourself.
In the afternoon, we transfer to the airport, taking a flight to Chiang Mai. Checking-in the hotel in Chiang Mai and then you are free.

The morning will be mainly devoted to visit the old city with a stop at the ancient wall, the moat and a door of the old city. You will see more beautiful temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Prah Singh Temple, Wat Phan Tao temple and the temple Wat Chedi Luang. Then you will stroll along streets lined with traditional houses, visit Central Market Warorot.
Afternoon, visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous pagoda Chiang Mai. It is reached after climbing a staircase of 290 steps with ramps represent two giant naga. From the square, you can admire the panorama of the whole Chiang Mai Valley.
Then transfer back to the hotel and free time. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

08:00 – 08:30 : Pick up from your hotel or accommodation
08:30 : Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.
10:30 : Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.
11:00 : Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.
12:00 : Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.
13:00 : Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.
14:00 : Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants.
15:00 : Change clothes and say good bye to the elephants
15:30 : Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.
17:00-17:30 : Drop off at your hotel or accommodation.

Our tour today starts with a transfer to Doi Inthanon National Park. It will take approximately 2 hours to the highest peak of Thailand – Doi Inthanon National Park. On arrival, we will spend 2-3 hours trekking through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail which leads us to a stunning hidden waterfall in the middle of lush jungle.
Along the way before reaching the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, we will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, flowers farm and the beautiful rice terraces. Discover the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village and taste a cup of locally grown coffee then move on to Vachiratharn Waterfall, a 70 metres high thunderous waterfall. Enjoy the cool fresh air at the waterfall before we continue back to the ground.
Afterwards you will visit the beautiful architecture of Napamaytanidol Chidi and Phra Mahathat Napaphon Bhumisiri which were built to honour the 60th birthday of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Then transfer back to Chiang Mai.

Morning after breakfast, we transfer to Elephant Poopoo Paper Park, which is an eco-friendly, naturally built, outdoor museum park that shows how the paper is produced from elephant poop fibers!
In the afternoon, time would be free at your own until we transfer you to Chiang Rai. Check in the hotel in Chiang Rai and then you are free.

Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs.
Lunch on your own account and afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.
Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

After breakfast, drive to visit Chiang Saen, the ancient city famous for the Golden Triangle.
We visit Opium Museum, showing the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. This exhibition portrays every angle of the story, from the history of the Golden Triangle, the origin of opium, the opium war to drug smugglers, etc.
Taking a boat trip along the Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma, & Laos, confluence at the Golden Triangle.
The Golden Triangle is known for its beautiful scenery. Some of the sights in the area include a large golden Buddha image seated in a boat, an ancient temple on a hill, and the House of Opium Museum.
Return to Chiang Rai, go to the airport, and take a flight to Bangkok.
