Doi Inthanon National Park Tour 2 Days: Waterfalls & Forests Exploration

Embark on a 2-day trek in Doi Inthanon National Park Tour, home to Thailand's highest mountain at 2,565 meters. This vital watershed features diverse forests, including evergreen, pine, and mixed deciduous types, and is a haven for bird species.

We'll start with a stop at a local market to gather supplies before visiting the stunning Wachirathan Waterfall. Then, we’ll reach the summit, where we’ll explore the shrine of King Inthawichayanon and walk the short Angka Nature Trail, showcasing beautiful mossy forests.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll head to the Mae Wang trekking area. The trek to a nearby White Karen Village takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, with your guide sharing insights about Northern Thailand’s forest types along the way. In the village, you can help prepare a traditional meal over a wood fire and learn about the Karen people, including some basic phrases in their language. Optionally, you can try on traditional Karen clothing.

On the second day of your Doi Inthanon National Park Tour 2 days trek, you’ll wake up to the bustling life of the village. After breakfast, we’ll explore, observing local animals and chatting with villagers. If we’re lucky, we might see women weaving and you can practice your Karen language.

Next, we’ll hike downhill for about an hour to a lovely waterfall, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy nature. After this, we’ll continue to the main road, taking in beautiful views along the way. After our morning hike, we’ll have a simple Thai lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we’ll head to a rafting camp for a 45-minute bamboo raft ride on the Mae Wang River. This calm river is safe, and life jackets will be provided.
