Suoi Tien Theme Park

Since its official opening in 1995, Suoi Tien Theme Park has become a leading cultural and entertainment symbol in Ho Chi Minh City. Let’s take a closer look at what makes it a must-visit spot with Asia King Travel.
Suoi Tien Theme Park is the largest waterpark in Ho Chi Minh City
On September 2, 1995, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day, Suoi Tien officially opened its gates. After 30 years of construction and development, Suoi Tien has completely renovated its landscape and entertainment model. It has created a complex that harmoniously combines natural and man-made, traditional and modern elements, becoming a leading name in the tourism industry both domestically and internationally.
The park is open year-round; however, the best time to visit is during the dry season, from December to April, especially between January and March. This period offers cooler, pleasant weather with little rain, perfect for enjoying outdoor rides, temples, and water attractions. It also coincides with spring festivals and post-Tet celebrations, bringing a vibrant, festive atmosphere to the park.
Besides that, the rainy season from August to November can also be a good time. But keep in mind that the summer holiday runs from June to September, and the park can become even more crowded, especially on weekends. To have a more enjoyable experience at this time, consider visiting during weekdays or in the morning.
Suoi Tien Theme Park is located at 120 Hanoi Highway, Tang Nhon Phu Ward, which is 20 kilometers from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. The park is close to an area with numerous universities, which people usually call the “University Village”, so this is one of the students’ favourite destinations as well.
