Just wrapped up the 11-day Hidden Gems of Vietnam tour and honestly, I don’t know what I loved more, cruising Ha Long Bay like a movie star, walking the dreamy streets of Hoi An, or eating my weight in banh mi. From Hanoi’s charm to the Mekong’s peace, it felt like Vietnam was showing me all its best secrets. 10/10 would happily get lost here again!

Joining the 2-week Vietnam to Cambodia tour with Asia King Travel was one of the best travel decisions I’ve made. From cruising the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to wandering through the ancient temples of Angkor, every moment felt like a scene from a travel documentary, only better, because I was in it. The guides were knowledgeable and fun, food was delicious, and memories? Absolutely priceless. Just be warned: your suitcase will return heavier (blame the tailor-made clothes and all the souvenirs)

Seventeen days, seven homestays, and more bowls of rice than I can count, this Vietnam tour was something else! From sipping tea with a sweet grandma in Sapa to learning how to paddle a boat (badly) in Cai Be, every stop felt like stepping into someone’s real life, not just a tour. The families were so welcoming, I started wondering if I should just stay and help with the morning markets. In Vietnam, I got to explore some of the city’s most iconic spots like the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the Temple of Literature, which gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history and culture. Later in Laos, visiting the elephant sanctuary near Luang Prabang was truly heartwarming. Being able to interact with the rescued elephants and learn about the conservation work being done there was something I’ll never forget.
