The name The Florest is a combination of Flower and Forest
In 2019, young entrepreneur Le Xuan Truong came to Da Lat in search of real estate opportunities, but instead, he discovered something different. A piece of land in Ta Nung Commune, embraced by primeval forests, with stunning landscapes and unique natural terrain. This sparked the idea of creating a flower garden that would highlight the beauty of this land and turn it into a famous attraction.
And so, in 2022, the first flower bushes were planted. The land did not disappoint nature lovers, the trial plantings soon blossomed beautifully in full color and fragrance. By Lunar New Year 2023, The Florest officially opened its doors to visitors. Thus predicted Mr. Truong, the garden instantly became a beloved attraction.
The Florest (full name: The Florest - Flowers in the Forest) is located in Cam Ly - Da Lat Ward, Lam Dong Province, about a 30-minute drive from the old city center of Da Lat. The garden covers an area of 60 hectares, with 5.5 hectares dedicated to flower cultivation. Surrounding it is an additional 300 hectares of primeval forest.
The Florest quickly became a popular attraction in Da Lat
To reach Da Lat, you can travel by road via National Highway 20 from the south or National Highway 27C from Nha Trang. Alternatively, flying to Lien Khuong International Airport is a more convenient option. From there, you have two routes to The Florest:
-From Lien Khuong International Airport: From the airport, head to National Highway 27, then turn onto Provincial Road 725. Follow this road for about 30 km to reach the destination. However, several sections are dirt roads and quite bumpy, so you’ll need to be careful while traveling.
-From Da Lat: Starting from Lam Vien Square, take Tran Phu Street and then Hoang Van Thu Street in the direction of Cam Ly Waterfall. At the roundabout, turn right to stay on Hoang Van Thu Street, then continue onto Van Thanh Street. From Van Thanh, turn left to exit the urban area and follow Provincial Road 725 to reach the destination.
Along Provincial Road 725, watch for the signs pointing to The Florest – Flowers in the Forest placed along both sides of the road. Just follow the directions, and you’ll easily reach the destination.
Even the entrance path alone is already stunning
Thanks to modern cultivation techniques, the flower garden is always bursting with vibrant colors all year round. All you need to do is choose the best time to visit, or in other words, pick the type of flower that suits you best.
In the early months of the year, apricot blossoms and peach blossoms - symbols of Vietnamese Tet - bring the fresh spirit of the new year to every corner of the garden. In summer, sunflowers radiate warmth, brightening your day. Green meadows scattered throughout create a lively, picturesque scene.

When autumn arrives, chrysanthemums take over with their golden hues, accompanied by the vibrant blues and reds of hydrangeas. Toward the year’s end, the serenity of winter is reflected in the gentle white shades of buckwheat flowers.
The Florest is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though most activities will stop about 30 minutes earlier. Entrance tickets cost VND 130,000 for adults and VND 65,000 for children, including a complimentary bottled drink. You can also pay a little extra to enjoy a beverage of your choice.

The garden is likened to a stunning natural painting, a harmonious blend of human creativity and the beauty of nature. The trekking route usually starts from the flower garden, passing through grassy hills and pine forests before gradually leading into the primeval forest. Along the way, you’ll encounter fascinating wild plants and flowers. The trek is not difficult, and you will gain plenty of rewarding experiences.
The Florest isn’t just about vibrant flowers all year round, it also has a mini zoo filled with super cute animals. You can cuddle and pet chubby little rabbits or watch guinea pigs scamper around the grass. You might hand-feed baby goats or simply enjoy playing with the friendly dogs.
