Itinerary
Our guide and driver will pick you up early from your hotel in Hanoi for a 250-kilometer drive to Ba Be National Park. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch and visit a Tay ethnic minority village. The Tay people, Vietnam's second-largest ethnic group, are known for their rice farming.
Once at Ba Be National Park, you'll enjoy a boat trip along the Nang River, exploring Ba Be Lake, Puong Grotto, Dau Dang Waterfall, and Widow Island. These scenic spots offer a peaceful atmosphere, so bring your camera for beautiful photos.
In the afternoon, you'll arrive at a Tay village and spend the night in a traditional stilt house, staying with a local family.

Cao Bang is a frontier town mainly home to the Nung ethnic group, who have preserved their traditional way of life and are known for their distinctive clothing.
We'll visit Phia Thap Village, famous for its incense-making craft. You'll enjoy a 30-minute demonstration showing how incense is made. Afterward, we'll take an easy walk up a nearby mountain for a panoramic view of the area and some great photo opportunities.
In the evening, we'll return to the homestay in Phia Thap for an overnight stay.

This exciting and adventurous path, filled with fascinating legends, will lead you through both dark and light areas of the cave.
Afterward, our driver will take you to Ban Gioc Waterfall, near Vietnam’s northern border with China.
