Cat Tien National Park Tour 2-Day: Wildlife and Jungle Adventure

7:30 AM: Pick up from your hotel or designated location and depart for Cat Tien National Park. The drive takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, with a short break along the way.

11:30 AM: Upon arrival, check in at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge, a charming wooden bungalow nestled in the forest, and enjoy a delicious lunch.

After lunch, embark on an exciting guided walking tour through the tropical jungle. Learn about the diverse plant and animal life, and discover the Giant Tung Tree and other fascinating species like Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles Nudiflora (Tung), and Cycas Rumphii (Thien Tue), depending on the trekking route you choose.

In the afternoon, you can explore freely—either by biking on small trails through the jungle or relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings. For some light entertainment, you can also enjoy a quiet game of snooker.

7:00 PM: Dinner will be served at the park's central area. Afterward, enjoy an unforgettable night jeep ride through the jungle for about an hour. This is a fantastic opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife, including Loris, fishing cats, pangolins, civets, and more.

Overnight stay at the jungle lodge.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast amidst the lively sounds of birds singing and gibbons calling in the forest.

At 7:30 AM, take a jeep ride to Crocodile Swamp, home to Siamese crocodiles and many rare bird species listed in the Red Book of endangered animals in Vietnam and globally. The drive takes approximately 20 minutes (10 km from your lodge), followed by a 5 km trek to the ferry terminal. If you're lucky, you may witness a peacock's courtship dance, hear the melodies of colorful birds perched on century-old trees, or spot deer foraging for food.

Immerse yourself in the majestic scenery of the swamp, where you can learn about the freshwater Siamese crocodile and hear local myths about this wetland area, surrounded by wild lotus flowers.

Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by check-out.

At 2:00 PM, depart for Saigon, with arrival and drop-off around 6:00 PM.
