Emirates Airline set up the Dubai-Da Nang flightway
Emirates is the world’s leading international airline (according to Forbes Travel Guide 2025). Since June 2, 2025, Emirates has officially operated the new route with a frequency of 4 flights per week. Round-trip flights to Da Nang will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The plane model used is Boeing 777-300ER with 2 classes: 35 Business Class seats and 369 Economy Class seats.
A special celebration was held on June 2 to welcome the first flight number EK370 from Dubai to Da Nang (transit in Bangkok). Mrs. Hong Hanh, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, stated that the presence of Emirates Airline in Da Nang marked a significant improvement in city tourism. International tourists now have more choices to make their travel to Da Nang. And in return, the city’s target market is also enhanced with potential tourists from the Middle East.

Local authority welcomed travelers from the first flight of Emirates to the city
Emirates’ operation of flights to Da Nang has helped the city connect with more than 140 of the airline’s global destinations, including potential markets such as the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Africa. According to the director, this not only encourages local tourism but also enhances chances to cooperate with international partners in terms of commercial, investment, and cultural-economic exchanges.

DIFF 2025 is under the topic “Da Nang - The New Rising Era” with 10 teams from 9 countries. This event conveys the message of stepping into a new era, affirming the city’s aspirations and efforts to make Da Nang a top destination on the international tourism map.
The opening night of DIFF 2025 is scheduled on May 31, with a match between Vietnam 1 and Finland under the theme of Cultural Essence. Other matches will be held every Saturday night in the following weeks (a week off before the final night), with creative themes. Each team will have 20 minutes to perform fireworks displays according to the agreed theme.
