Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) has always been one of the most anticipated summer events in Vietnam. In 2025, this firework festival is set to be the biggest, longest, and most spectacular edition ever, featuring six vibrant nights of competition, with 10 outstanding teams from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Alongside the fireworks shows, there is a variety of exciting side activities that promise to bring an unforgettable summer to the coastal city of Da Nang.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 will be held every Saturday from May 31 to July 12 (except July 5), spanning six weeks of explosive entertainment. The festival begins with a breathtaking opening night on May 31, followed by exciting matchups between international fireworks teams, and ends with a stunning conclusion on July 12.
Each competition night will have a unique theme and performances by world-class teams, providing all guests with new and exciting experiences.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 will take place on the eastern bank of the Han River, particularly along Tran Hung Dao Street, which is popular with both tourists and residents during festival season.

On the east side, fireworks will go off, and on the west side, the main platform will be built, giving everyone a great view of the bright night sky above the river. This is a great place to see the best fireworks shows of the year because it is open and has beautiful views of the riverbank.
DIFF 2025 will feature 10 top-tier fireworks teams from 9 countries across three continents. Notably, this is the first time the festival welcomes two Vietnamese teams: one representing Da Nang City and the other from 21 Chemical One Member Limited Company.
The lineup also includes impressive contenders from around the world, including the champion Finland, and strong teams from Poland, China, Canada, South Korea, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. With such a varied and talented group, every night promises to be an amazing exhibition of pyrotechnic mastery and artistic sensibility.

These prime viewing seats offer an unobstructed, front-facing view of the spectacular fireworks displays from all teams. Aside from the fireworks, the night will be filled with thrilling live music and entertainment. Tickets can be purchased for seats in the Han River Port grandstands, which provide the best vantage point without any buildings blocking your view.

A favorite among locals, these bridges offer open-air, breezy summer nights with clear views of the dazzling fireworks. Top bridges include the Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, and Thuan Phuoc Bridge.
Note: There are no chairs on the bridges, so arrive early and bring something comfy if you intend to stand.

These riverside streets are popular public viewing spots. You'll find street vendors and cafe where you can sip a cool drink while watching the sky light up. Because these areas get crowded quickly, be sure to arrive early to grab a good spot not blocked by buildings.

For a laid-back viewing experience including food and cozy sitting, many visitors choose rooftop restaurants or tall hotels. Popular alternatives close to the river with rooftop views are Novotel Danang, Hilton Danang, Brilliant Hotel, Vinpearl, Vincom, Vanda Hotel Danang, and others.
