Thai Nguyen Tour 2 Days: Culture and Nui Coc Lake Adventure

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and transport you to Thai Nguyen. Upon arrival, you will visit the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures. It contains over 10,000 documents and artifacts representing the cultural heritage of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. After that, we will travel to Tan Cuong commune, a well-known tea plantation in Thai Nguyen province.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will bike nearly twenty kilometers around traditional tea villages. You will pass through beautiful tea hills. Have previous experience plucking tea buds with local tea growers. Overnight in a homestay.

After breakfast, you'll bike to Nui Coc Lake, which is linked to a romantic love story. Then ride to Kem Stream. Visit a tea-producing household to observe how the locals dry and pack tea bags. The steps for processing green tea will be explained, and you will understand how to identify good and bad tea. After that, you can keep some tea as a souvenir.

To conclude the tour, you will visit the Tea Cultural Space, where the Annual International Tea Festival is held. This museum chronicles the Thainguyen people's tea cultivation culture. After that, you'll say goodbye to Thai Nguyen and return to Hanoi.
