North Central Vietnam Trekking Tour 4 days: Ngoc Son - Ngo Luong

Depart for Ngoc Son Ngo Luong national reserve around 07 :30 am on Ho Chi Minh Trail via the beautiful landiscape of the montanous area. Labeled ecotourism destination, Ngoc Son Ngo Luong has a kind of an unknown and unspoiled setting, and very little affected by tourism development. Indeed, the site has been open to the public since 2010 and it is difficult to access except by private transportation (two wheels only). Arrival at the headquarter of the reserve around 11:30. The ranger will welcome us and take us to Chiang village for lunch. After lunch breakfast, we will trek to Mu village 7km. During the trekking time, we will have time to take the beautiful photos of the villages, the valley, the corn field on terrace. You will take a small way to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall Mu. A break in 30 minutes near the waterfall Mu to assess the authenticity of places. And keep walking through the terraced rice fields brings us to the village of Sat where you spend the night in a stilt house of local residents. You will be warmly welcomed by the host family. Tine free and relax.  After dinner, we will enjoy the traditioal dancing & singing show with performance of a Muong ethnic women in traditional dress. Can Ruou tasting (drinking wine in a pot through the pines) to finish the evening. Overnight in Sat Village.

Wake up early in the morning,  we take a nice walk around the village. After breakfast we will trek 6km to the village of Mon. On the road, you will pass by many local house, watch the women in their agricultural business and having children with their innocent mouse. Arrival at the village of Mon for lunch. After lunch, a motorbike taxi (xe om) take you to join in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Then you start the hike 10km through the jungle. During a trek, you can admire the beautiful natural waterfalls and rivers, swimming inevitable for a moment of freshness in the midst of the natural landscape. Cross the quiet landscape with houses on stilts of Thai minority to reach the village of Hieu and then check in  local house of Thai on the hillside where there is a beautiful view over the valley, the rice terraces and forests..

Morning  you can wake up early to participate in the activities of people or make a walk around the village . Afer breakfast we continue trekking around 7km downhild today to the village of Pho Doan where the local people come to  their local market every Thursday. All local products are sold and traded in a lively atmosphere. On the way, enjoy the wonderful natural scenery, rice terraces and meet friendly locals. Meet the vehicle and we take road journey to Cam Thuy where we have lunch. Afternoon transfer to Cuc Phuong national resever. On arrival, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue center and learn about the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates. And check in the guest house in the middle of the park.

Rising to the sounds of the forest all around us, breakfast we will start our real jungle trek through the national park. A national park ranger will be our on-site guide who makes sure that we do not get lost and he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the park. After 3 hours trekking we will get back to the guesthouse. Lunch and afternoon, return to Hanoi. End of service.
