Location & Altitude: Suoi Thau Grassland is located in Nan Ma Commune, Xin Man District, Ha Giang Province, near the border with Bac Ha District in Lao Cai. Just about 5 km from Coc Pai Town, this highland gem sits at an altitude of over 1,200 meters above sea level.
Area & Landscape: Spanning an area of 90-100 hectares, the grassland is blanketed with lush green meadows, golden rice terraces, blooming fields of mustard flowers and buckwheat, and vast corn plantations - painting a vivid and ever-changing natural canvas.

From Hanoi: The trip can be divided into two legs. First, take a sleeper bus to Ha Giang City (around 250,000 VND per person). From there, you can rent a motorbike (200,000–250,000 VND per bike) to reach Suoi Thau.
From Southern Vietnam: Fly to Hanoi, then follow the same route as above.
Route Details: From Ha Giang City, follow National Highway 2 (QL2) to Coc Pai Town. From there, continue along a scenic mountain pass for about 5 km to reach the grassland. The road, though winding, is relatively wide and smooth, with only a few tricky sections for motorbikes. It's recommended to follow the directions for cars to avoid narrow and slippery shortcuts.
