Kon Ka Kinh National Park is located in the Northeast of Gia Lai Province, which is about 50 kilometers northeast of Pleiku Ward and covers an area of 419 square kilometers. With an altitude of more than 1,748 meters above sea level, it is considered the roof of Gia Lai Province, attracting trekking enthusiasts to conquer it. The national park also has important conservation value with many animal species listed in the Red Book.

To get to Kon Ka Kinh National Park, you can go either by private or public transportation. However, we recommend you travel by motorbike or private car, as the closer you get to the park, the less populated the area becomes, and it will be much harder for you to hire a taxi to reach the destination.

The overall route is easy to follow but quite narrow and winding, so remember not to ride too fast to ensure your safety. From Pleiku Ward, follow National Road 19 for 40 kilometers northeast until you see the Phuong Nhi Petrol Station to the right. Turn left at that spot, then keep going for another 10 kilometers until you see the gate with the name of the national park. From here, you can get your tickets and start your journey.
Gia Lai is located in the Central Highlands with a mild and cool climate. Here, thanks to dense forests and waterfalls, the air stays fresh year-round. The ideal time for you to explore this tourist area is in the dry season (from May to October). This is when the weather is dry, with little rain, favourable for travelling, climbing mountains and exploring lakes, rapids and waterfalls.
