Welcome to our Southern Vietnam Cycling Tour 5 days: Saigon & Mekong Delta

Mekong Delta is one the best places for cycling tours in the south of Vietnam because Mekong Delta is the lush an beautiful area with many small paths along the canals, river and through the orchards, villages. With our trip, you will have time to experience the highlights of Mekong Delta. Enjoy the boat cruise to visit the traditional market of Cai Be, the floating marketing of Cai Rang, discover the beautiful national part of Gao Giong.

Arrival in Saigon airport, pick up and transfer to hotel. Your free time on your own to stroll around the city. Overnight in Saigon

Morning, pick up from hotel and transfer by vehicle to Cai Lay and get acquainted with your bicycle. Then we enjoy riding around 40 km along well paved, sand and dirt paths through different local villages and rice fields and fruit orchards. Along the way, there are chances to see real-life activities of Mekong delta as kids going to local school, farmers growing rice and vegetables or keeping ducks on the field! Arrival in Cai Be boat station, we take a private boat cruise to see traditional floating market and visit some local home factories as rice paste making, rice popcorn, and coconut candies. Quite the boat and we continue vehicle journey to Can Tho, check in hotel and stay overnight in Can Tho.

Early morning we wake up around 05:30 am for another short boat cruise to see the busiest floating market in the Mekong. Buy a coffee or a drink from a floating coffee shop if you like! We return back to our hotel for the breakfast, check out and and we take then a short drive to Sa Dec where we take cycling through beautiful country roads to a historic communist base. Get off the bicycle, and we take a scenic private sampan trip around the base and be amazed how communists lived and worked during the war. Drive to Cao Lanh where we stay overnight.

After breakfast, we will start cycling approximately 35km through country roads to the beautiful Gao Giong national park. We Then take a rowing boat along mangrove forest to see different kinds of birds. Take off the boat and we continue cycling along country road and enjoy the sights and local activities along the way. Lunch in local restaurant. Afternoon, transfer back to Saigon. Time free and overnight in Saigon.
