Built based on a traditional house typical of Northern Vietnam with the comfort of luxury hotels, this place promises to give you and your family a great vacation.
Moon Garden Hostel will not only offer you a peaceful atmosphere to escape the constant noises of Hanoi but also the opportunity to experience and participate in the daily life of the rural Vietnamese. Moreover, there are also many intersting activities, all to help you relax and have a great time with your family and friends.

Itinerary

10:00 a.m.: Arrive at the Moon Garden Hostel and visit the village of Ky Son. You will be welcomed with fresh green tea from the garden. Free time to discover the Gîte and the village of Ky Son (its small local market, its kindergarten, etc.)
11:00 a.m.: You take part in the cooking class. (Menu: fresh spring roll, fried spring roll, traditional dessert, decoration of dishes)
12:30 p.m.: Lunch. After lunch, you will dip your fingers in scented water for a little hand massage.
1:30 p.m.: Meeting with family members for the presentation of the house and the village of Ky Son. Short course on the basics of the Vietnamese language. This is the time to discuss with family members about many areas such as Vietnamese culture, morals, and customs, in particular traditional marriage.
3:00 p.m.: During the Bike Ride through the villages of Ky Son, Tam Son, and Van Minh, you can stop at any house to have a cup of tea and chat with the locals about their daily life and agricultural work. If you want to understand the life of a farmer, you can also participate in their agricultural activities such as plowing, transplanting, sowing, harvesting rice, corn, or sweet potatoes - depending on the season, enjoy the collection of tea and fragrant and medicinal herbs necessary for your bath this afternoon and finish with a foot massage at the end of the evening.
5: 30 p.m.: On your return, enjoy a local herbal tea. While waiting for the scented water for the shower, you can drink and taste, in the company of the owners of the house, local products such as sweet potatoes or corn, peanuts, and cassava... depending on the season.
6:30 p.m.: Traditional bath with fragrant herbs (lemongrass, grapefruit leaves, and Huong Nhu).
7:30 p.m.: Candlelight dinner.
8:30 p.m.: Have a “Spa” of feet soaked in hot water with ginger, salt, and medicinal herbs, real relaxation before going to bed.

7:00 a.m.: Opportunity to do traditional Yijin jing gymnastics with the family and to be introduced to the special worship of the Buddha. Then observe the worship of the ancestors, and you will burn the votive papers for the deceased.
7:45 a.m.: Breakfast
8:30 a.m.: Free time, the opportunity to relax on the hammocks in the garden, take photos with traditional costumes, go fishing, or take a walk in the surrounding area.
10:00 a.m.: Departure for a visit to the Thay Pagoda (12th century), Tay Phuong Pagoda (8th century). These are the most beautiful pagodas in the region.
In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Ha Noi.
