You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi early in the morning, around 7:30 AM, to begin your journey to Sapa via the HW Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway, the longest in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta through the midlands to Lao Cai province will set a wonderful tone for your trip. You’ll arrive in Sapa by noon, where you can enjoy lunch at a restaurant in town.

After lunch, we will transfer to a trekking point in Sa Xeng Village, with a brief stop along the way to take photos of Muong Hoa Valley. Once we arrive at Hau Thao, you’ll get off the vehicle and start your afternoon trek to Sả Xéng. This trek, approximately 7 km and lasting about 2 hours, will take you along a small back road that winds through the uneven valley. Most of the trail is gently downhill, allowing you to pass several villages and enjoy views of terraced rice fields.

At the end of the trek, you’ll be picked up and taken back to Sapa town, where you will check into a hotel for the night. Dinner will be on your own.

Meals: Lunch

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be picked up at 8:30 AM and transferred by car to the trekking point for Y Ling Ho Village in Muong Hoa Valley. As the largest valley in the Sapa region, Muong Hoa features a rocky river and is known for its scenic trekking paths.

The trek begins with a gentle slope into the valley, where the beautiful rice terraces may be the highlight of your day. You'll cross a small suspension bridge over the river and continue uphill. Although this section can be challenging when wet, it offers spectacular views of the valley.

You’ll finish your trek at Lao Chai Village, where your private vehicle will be waiting for you. As you drive along the length of Muong Hoa Valley, you'll have the chance to take in the stunning scenery. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant along the way.

In the afternoon, you'll spend time driving back to Hanoi, arriving between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
