Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 4 Days: Ultimate Adventure Awaits

Get ready to embark on a thrilling Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 4 Days as we drive to our starting point for an unforgettable jungle and river exploration. Our first stop is the Mae Malai local market, where your guide will shop for the next few days, explaining the various ingredients he'll use for dinner. This market is one of the most fascinating in North Thailand.

Next, we head to the stunning Mork Fah Waterfall in Doi Suthep Doi Pui National Park, perfect for a swim and relaxation. Enjoy a simple yet delicious lunch at a roadside restaurant before continuing to Pong Deuad Hot Springs, part of Huai Nam Dang National Park, where our trek begins.

We'll hike for about four hours through a beautiful, serene forest. The trail is undulating but not too challenging. An hour before reaching the Sgaw Karen village for our overnight stay, we pass an area with breathtaking views.

Upon arriving at the village, you can relax, explore, or help your guide prepare dinner, learning to cook Thai dishes on a woodfire. After dinner, visit a village house to meet the locals and learn a few words in the Sgaw Karen language, like "tablu," meaning "thanks."

Enjoy your first night in a homestay in the Karen village within Huai Nam Dang National Park. 

On the second day of your Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 4 Days, start with a healthy breakfast prepared by your guide, essential for the challenging mountain trek ahead. Bid farewell to the residents of Pong Noi village and begin a two to three-hour trek through the forest, visiting local rice and vegetable fields to learn about traditional cultivation.

After a jungle lunch, continue trekking for another two hours to the Karen village of Baan Mae Ma Nai. Here, you'll fish in the Mae Taeng River using local tools and learn to build a bamboo raft. The evening is yours to explore or relax in the village. Overnight accommodations will be in Baan Mae Ma Nai.

On day three of your Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour, start with breakfast before embarking on a three to four-hour trek to the Black Lahu village of Ban Pong Ngan. Enjoy the serene hike through pristine forest. Your guide will prepare an authentic jungle-style lunch using traditional Karen methods with local plants and herbs.

After lunch, continue exploring the lush forests and stunning waterfalls of Huai Nam Dang until you reach Ban Pong Ngan. You'll have time to wander this picturesque village along the Taeng River. Ending your trek in a Lahu village offers a unique experience, as the Lahu people are historically known for their hunting, now prohibited in protected areas.

Your guide will prepare a delicious dinner and teach you a few words in the Lahu language. Spend your final night in this welcoming Lahu community.

On the final day of your Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour, enjoy breakfast in the community before heading to the Mae Taeng River for a bamboo raft journey. Life jackets are provided, and children must be at least six years old to participate.
