Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 2 Days: Experience Adventure

Prepare for an exciting adventure on the Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 2 Days! This popular trekking destination has attracted travelers since the 1970s. 

Our journey begins in Mae Malai, where your guide will gather supplies and explain the ingredients for dinner. We'll then visit Mork Fa waterfall for a refreshing swim before enjoying a local lunch. Next, we'll head to Pong Duad Hot Springs, where our trek kicks off.

We'll hike for about four hours through lush tropical forests, taking time to rest and capture the stunning views, especially at a plateau with majestic Pinus Kesiya trees. 

By late afternoon, we'll arrive at a Karen village for an overnight stay. You can relax, explore, or join a Thai cooking lesson with your guide, who will teach you about local herbs and ingredients. After dinner, you’ll meet some villagers and learn a few words in the Karen language, such as “tablu,” meaning greetings and thank you. Your overnight stay will be in a cozy setup with a mattress and mosquito net, similar to camping.

After breakfast, we will set off on a one-hour trek to the Mae Taeng River, where our bamboo rafts will be ready for us. Depending on the season, the river can have some thrilling rapids. Life jackets will be provided, and it is mandatory to wear them and follow our bamboo rafting policy. Please note that the minimum age for children to participate in bamboo rafting is six years.

Enjoy a scenic bamboo raft ride to a Black Lahu village along the Mae Taeng River. We'll take a break to explore the village before continuing our journey through the jungle. The lush green jungle on both sides of the river makes for a beautiful sight. Historically, bamboo rafting was a crucial mode of transportation. Our final destination is a Shan village, where we'll have lunch.

After lunch, we'll head back to Chiang Mai by trekking truck, arriving at your hotel around 4 PM. This marks the end of your Huai Nam Dang Trek Tour 2 Days. We hope you had an amazing experience.
