Pick up at your hotel in Saigon and then transfer you to Ben Tre. 10:00 AM: Arrive at Ham Luong Pier in Ben Tre town, opposite the hotel of the same name. Board a boat on the Ben Tre River, a tributary of the Mekong River. Enjoy the lively activities along the river, such as fishing and water transportation. Stop at a brickwork to see traditional brick-making by printing and baking. Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops along the canal. Navigate through natural creeks that become narrower, leading to a village. Take a walk to a family workshop making sleep mats, and enjoy some fruits and tea. Ride a motor cart (xe loi) or cycle under tree shades, passing green rice fields and vegetable plains to experience real life and learn about tropical culture from the peasants. Have lunch at the Hai Ho family.

Afternoon: Ride a sampan along the canal before returning to Ham Luong Pier by boat.

4:00 PM: Transfer by boat to Mrs. Mai’s house. Check-in for a homestay. Relax with activities such as rowing a boat and catching shrimps in a creek.

6:00 PM: Rest and join the family in cooking.

7:00 PM: Have dinner and engage in family conversations. Overnight at the farmer’s house.

7:30 AM: Have breakfast. Cycle to see the local market, a broom-making workshop, and a soy sauce-making facility. Visit a local school.

10:00 AM: End your tour. Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City or your next destination.
