Mekong Delta Tour 3 days: Mekong Delta Eco Excursion

After a pick-up from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, embark on your Mekong Delta adventure. We will make a stop in Tan An for photo opportunities amidst the scenic flat rice fields. Then, hop on a motorboat and journey to the bustling Cai Be floating markets. Witness the lively scene as vendors trade fruits and other commodities from their boats. 

Next, take a walk through charming villages, where you can visit orchards, fruit plantations, and handicraft villages. Alternatively, relax and soak up the tranquility at our beautiful eco-resort. Have lunch with fresh river food and other Mekong Delta specialties served amidst the picturesque gardens of the Mekong Lodge Riverside Restaurant. 

In the afternoon, partake in a fun and informative cooking class, where you'll learn the secrets of local dishes. Afterward, enjoy a delectable dinner you helped create. Finally, settle in for a comfortable overnight stay at your eco-lodge resort (bungalow).

After breakfast, board a boat and cruise back to Cai Be. From there, we will set off for Cao Lanh, where a fascinating historical stop awaits. Visit Xeo Quit base, a former Viet Cong hideout. To fully appreciate its significance, then embark on a boat cruise through the surrounding swamps and forests. 

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Chau Doc, where you'll check in to your hotel upon arrival. Have some free time before we head out to visit Sam Mountain and the captivating carved pagoda. Gather to enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier. Dinner is on your own this evening, allowing you to explore Chau Doc’s culinary scene at your own pace.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a boat trip, first visiting a floating fish farm, offering a glimpse into the unique aquaculture practices of the Mekong Delta. Next, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of a Cham weaving village, where you can witness traditional techniques firsthand.

Transfer to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a sanctuary teeming with diverse flora and fauna. Glide through the waterways on a boat trip, surrounded by cajuput flowers and the melodic symphony of birdsong, insects buzzing, and animals rustling through the trees. Reach the observation post for a panoramic view of the nearly 900-hectare forest, keeping an eye out for rare birds and other captivating wildlife.

Have lunch in the forest, unwind in a hammock or take a walk along Monkey Bridge. Refreshed and rejuvenated, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City, marking an end of your unforgettable 3-day Mekong Delta eco-tour.
