I would like to tell you that the service we received from Mr Thea and our driver where fabulous. We very much enjoyed every aspect of our tour, we only wish we had taken longer. Mr Thea was a vast source of knowledge and felt very looked after. His knowledge in history, the local culture and food was exceptionally helpful. When Mr Thea had to leave us our driver was also very good, although his english was more limited he pointed things out and we had a great time with him. We particularly enjoyed meeting his family and also having lunch at the homestay. We would like to stay there on our next visit.
We also where very glad we did Bokor Hill, it was amazing.
The hotels we stayed at both in Kep and Sihanoukville where great, the service and accomodation where very good. THe breakfast at The Veranda, Kep was very good although that was the only meal we ate there. On the second morning we left very early and they packed us a fabulous breakfast which was really lovely. The Sokha food was really good to, we had a fabulous lunch at The Deck restaurant on the water there.
All the other restaurants that we where taken to where great, we particularly enjoyed our meals at Kep at a small restaurant over the water and our lunch on Rabbit Island.
We generally enjoyed all the food through Cambodia, it was all very fresh, just lovely.
The booking with Asia King Travel was very easy and everyone we dealt with was very helpful.
There was really nothing that we didn't enjoy or thought could be improved. Everything from booking to our final good bye was great.

We would certainly recommend you to anyone we know travelling to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia or Thailand.

Our holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia now seems like a dream although we have only been home for a few days, it really was a fascinating trip and we thoroughly enjoyed every part. We had an amazing time and I just wanted to thank you for all your organisation and for the delicious dinner we had with you in Hanoi.

Everything went really well, all the transfers were very smooth and the guides and drivers were excellent. You probably heard that we decided, at the last minute, to fly from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and the agency dealt with the arrangements very efficiently.

We are hoping to return to Vietnam one day and also to visit Burma so we will definitely be in touch when the time comes.

Thank you very much for organising the tour for us at such short notice. We were very impressed with you and the service you provided and will definitely use you again and will be recommending you to others.

As for the tour we were on we have the following comments:

- guides (Ha (Hanoi) and Lap (Sapa)) were very good. Knowledge of sites, country and local culture/customs was great. Also both guides were great with my 3yr old and were able to be flexible with our plans to accomodate him and the baby.

- drivers in Hanoi and to Ninh Binh were great

- driver in Sapa was rather horn happy and drove too aggresively for our liking.

- the lunch in Hanoi on the city tour (real vietnam I think it was called) was very nice and probably the best Vietnamese food we had on the whole trip.

- the mini hotel after the train back from Sapa was not very nice, the hot water in the shower only lasted a couple of minutes and there was little breakfast - just some sandwich bread and some suspect looking jam. Considering the point of this hotel was to freshen up and have breakfast we were not impressed. We wouldn't recommend it to others.

- the train to Sapa... We understand that as we booked so late we got the last tickets on the train. The train up to Sapa was Ok (livitrian i think) but coming back (King express) was dirty, sheets had hairs on them, stains, smelt and there were cockroaches in the cabin. I assume the deluxe cabins would have been nicer. Understand that none of this is your fault and completely ours for bookingthe trip so late. however, We think it would be nice if you let people know what class tickets they have, what to expect cabin wise and suggest bringing sleeping bag liners or sheet/pillowcase with them. ( we thankfully bought some in Sapa for the return journey... Don't know what we would have done otherwise) .

- we really liked the hotel we had booked in Hanoi - hanoi legacy Hang Bac. Good location, nice and clean and great staff. We would recommend it to other travellers.

- in Halong Bay we used Paradise Luxury Cruise which wewould also recommend.

Sorry for the late reply but work has been so busy for me I am still trying to catch up with my work I have missed for a month .

How are you ? Hope you are well, first of all let me start of by saying thank you very much for the little gifts that you got me and Kanu. It was a very sweet gestures and we loved them , and secondly it was so lovely to have met you.

We both had an amazing time, we loved our time with Nhyan (I think that is how you spell his name) he was our guide in Hue – De Nang – Hoi An, he was so lovely and we had a great time with him and learnt so many new thing - we miss him very much . He was very clever and very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of things about the history in Vietnam.

Me and Kanu did not enjoy Hoi An, we didn’t get to see anything and it was just not a place we enjoyed very much .

All the hotels were very nice and beautiful in great locations and the food was AMAZING.

I ate a lot of Mangosteens, they were so lovely me and Nhyan both enjoyed them

We look forward to travelling with you again soon to Cambodia and Laos .

Dear Ms. Vy,

We also thank you very much for the organization of our trip in Cambodia this January.

The quality of your services was really top and we won’t hesitate to contact you again if we want to travel again in these countries and to refer you to our friends and relatives.

We had two French speaking guides : Ms. Kannitha first for the 3 first days and M. Rithy. With different personalities, both were very friendly and their very good knowledges helped us to understand better the Khmer culture and how Cambodian are living for now. They did care a lot about how we were set in our hotels, our foods and their advices were very good for our free time.

Drivers were good and respectful. We appreciated nice cold water and cleaning serviettes we were offered after long walks in the sunshine.

The hotels were also very good. They were mostly comfortable with a friendly staff :

-          The Plantation : nice and very comfortable accommodation. Food is delicious, the hygiene is perfect and the staff very friendly. A light dark cloud, someone in the staff of the Plantation hotel stole us a short pant and some money in my wallet.
-          The Sambor Village hotel was also comfortable for a countryside hotel.
-          Somadevi Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap, as a large touristic hotel, gave us also the services we could expect from this range of hotels.
-          Phka Villa Boutique Hotel was very enjoyable as well. We could feel they have a lake of money to fix up several small details but we forget all these thanks to their friendly communication.

Not used to Cambodian food we did appreciate the different meals prepared for us and the different atmosphere of the restaurants.

If we had to rate the general service, we’d give you a 9/10.

We have been meaning to get in touch with you for several months now, but just keep moving it down our list of things to do. Sorry for such a great delay.Life just seems to get busier all the time, especially at this time of the year.

Thank you for the excellent job you did in organising our holiday in Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia way back in February & March this year. We had an very enjoyable time and were really amazed by everything we saw and experienced in Asia.

We really appreciated the work of our guides who usually went out of their way to ensure our travels ran smoothly, and with the minimum of fuss. We were particularly impressed with Keant and Bonseht in Cambodia, Ek and Sam(?) in Laos, and Tamai and Minh in Vietnam. (Minh often put his own twist on things which made our trip much more interesting and enjoyable).

Just like to let you know, we had a great time in Vietnam with all the tour guides in Ho Chi Minh, Hoi An and Hanoi. They were prompt in pick up, friendly and very helpful. Mr An, needs a special mention, he made our visit, informative, educational, fun and we even missed him. He was indeed funny and was always asking if we were ok.

Our highlight was Halong Bay, we would love to return in the summer. We would definitely recommend you to family and friends.
