We welcome you at 14:00 onboard while enjoying your welcome drinks. We then depart to Sein Pankhone, a typical Myanmar village. While cruising along the fascinating scenes of Ayarwaddy, witness the daily life of the inhabitants of the river on the comfort of the sundeck.

Breakfast will be served on the sundeck between 07:00 and 08:00, before the visit on foot of this village of farmers and fishermen. Enjoy fine Myanmar cuisine while sailing on this protected area of the river, home of the Ayarwaddy Dolphin, in direction of Kyauk Myaung. Upon arrival, visit Kyauk Myang famous for its distinctive glazed pottery. The big Martaban earthenware jars made there are traditionally used as water reservoirs in the whole country. After breakfast, witness an authentic Myanmar when strolling around the local market in Kyauk Myaung. We then embark and sail to Mingun, among bamboo rafts transporting their fragile potteries downstream and fishermen casting their nets.

Awaken to the beautiful sight of the ancient temple of Mingun along with a traditional Burmese breakfast. If you’re an early bird, you’ll have the chance to visit Mingun, before the hoard of visitors arrives from Mandalay. Visit Pondawphaya, Settawya, Pahtodawgyi pagodas and the legendary Mingun Bell, one of the largest intact ringing bells in the world. Around 11:00, back onboard and sail towards Ava. Lunch will be served while crusing along the Ayarwaddy. At 15:00, you will be able to visit the Island of Ava by horse cart, including stops at famous Bagaya Kyaung & Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries. After a thrilling long day of visits, relax, while we navigate upstream to Sagaing for an exclusive BBQ Dinner on a sand beach facing the hilltops, dotted with white and gold pagodas. Overnight will be onboard.

Breakfast on board, cruise back to Mandalay and disembark at 10:00. Depending on customers’ program, time and jetty can be adjustable. (Disembarking earlier in Sagaing is recommended if customers need to catch an early flight).
