Check in and embark at 16:00 with a warm welcome from the crew. The boat then slowly sails upstream towards the ancient city of Mingun. While cruising along the fascinating scenes of Ayarwaddy, enjoy an aperitif on the upper deck and watch the sunset on the river. 
Enjoy your dinner of local tastes and flavors and spend the night onboard near Mingun.

Awaken to the beautiful sight of the ancient temple of Mingun along with a traditional Burmese breakfast. If you’re an early bird, you’ll have the chance to visit Mingun, before the hoard of visitors arrives from Mandalay. Visit Pondawphaya, Settawya, Pahtodawgyi pagodas and the legendary Mingun Bell, one of the largest intact ringing bells in the world. Around 11:00, back onboard and sail towards Ava. Lunch will be served while crusing along the Ayarwaddy. At 15:00, you will be able to visit the Island of Ava by horse cart, including stops at famous Bagaya Kyaung & Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries. After a thrilling long day of visits, relax, while we navigate upstream to Sagaing for an exclusive BBQ Dinner on a sand beach facing the hilltops, dotted with white and gold pagodas. 

Overnight will be onboard.

Upon your wake up, we’ll serve you a nice breakfast on board, while cruising back to Mandalay to disembark at 10:00 AM. Depending on your program, time and place of disembarking can be adjusted. 

Note: Disembarking earlier in Sagaing is recommended if you need to catch an early flight.
