Explore the 11th-century temple ruin of Prasat Tamao before heading to the serene area of Tonle Bati to visit the ancient Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau temples. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the temples. In the afternoon, climb Phnom Chisor mountain to see the well-preserved Angkorian temple and take in the splendid countryside views. On the second day, after a local breakfast, learn about the daily life of farmers in the village. Take a relaxing 40-minute boat trip through Takeo's canals, rice fields, and marshlands to visit the ancient Funan ruin temples of Phnom Da and Angkor Borei. In the morning, depart from your hotel and head south.

First, stop at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Sanctuary, a 2,500-hectare protected area with a zoo and wildlife rescue center. Home to endangered species like tigers, bears, and crocodiles, the sanctuary also works to rescue animals from poachers. Visit the 11th-century Prasat Tamao temple ruins at the top of Phnom Tamao.

Next, visit the Tonle Bati temples, a popular local worship site, and enjoy a picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Phnom Chisor, an Angkorian-era Hindu temple perched atop a hill. After climbing 412 steps, enjoy the view and explore the well-preserved ruins.

End the day at a homestay in Takeo, where you’ll be welcomed by a local family. Help prepare and share a traditional dinner together.
