Begin your journey with a transfer to Ratanakiri province, arriving in Banlung, the capital known as "The Red City" due to its omnipresent laterite. Head northwest, crossing bamboo forests to reach Voeune Sai village on the Se San River. The view of the Chinese village across the river is picturesque, with most villagers speaking only Chinese. Visit Tampoun villages upstream, known for their unique funeral statuary, accessible by boat or jeep. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.
