Itinerary

Arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport , welcome by our guide, transfer and installation at your hotel. Free time to rest from your trip and discover the capital.

Departure for a half-day tour of Kuala Lumpur to discover the modern and authentic side of the city: Istana Negara or the Royal Palace, the National Monument, the National Mosque, the buildings contrasting with the old buildings. Photo stop at the Petronas Towers, the symbol of Kuala Lumpur before returning to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free. Night in Kuala Lumpur.

Road to the Cameron highlands , 4.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur, passing through the spectacular Batu caves, a sacred place for the Indian community. It is the largest Hindu temple outside of India, every year several thousand devotees gather for the Thaipusam festival. To reach the sanctuary, you will have to climb the 272 steps and feed the few macaques installed on the site. Continuation with stop at the Lata Iskandar waterfalls and in small orang asli villages. Arrival and installation at your hotel, remaining free time.

Half-day walk in the Cameron highlands: tea plantation, tea workshop, butterfly farm, Rose Valley, Cactus Valley... Return to your hotel, remaining free time at the end of the day and evening.

Departure for Penang, nicknamed "the Pearl of the Orient" passing through Ipoh to discover the temple of Kek Lok Tong built in the rock. A brief stop in Kuala Kangsar for the Ubudiah Mosque and the Royal Palace.

Departure for a half-day visit to Georgetown, the capital of Penang and a city listed as a historic World Heritage Site by UNESCO: Fort Cornwallis, Masjid Kapitan Keling, or "Street Harmony", where the 4 main religions coexist. Indeed, you will find the Saint George Church there, followed by the Chinese temple of Kuan Yin (the oldest temple in Penang), the Queen Street Mariamman Hindu temple, and the Kapitan Keling Mosque.
Continue with the State Museum, built in 1821 (collection of old photographs, maps, and other historical relics) and the Burmese-influenced Chayamangkalaram pagoda. Night in Penang.

Departure from your hotel, transfer to Penang airport then flight to Sandakan via Kuala Lumpur. Welcome then transfer and installation at your hotel. Free time to rest or visit Sandakan. Night in Sandakan.

Departure for Sepilok, an orangutan rehabilitation center a few minutes by car from Sandakan. From the wooden platform, you can observe these touching animals during their meal (twice a day). Continue by road to Sukau (2h30), then take the boat to reach your lodge in the middle of the tropical forest! Free time to rest before going on a cruise on the Kinabatangan River to observe the endemic species of the region. Dinner and night at the lodge.
NB: Don't forget to equip yourself with good walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, hat, sunscreen, flashlight, binoculars and insect repellent.

Wake up early to the singing sounds of the forest, then cruise on the Kinabatangan River to reach Oxbow Lake and observe the many species of birds.
Return to the lodge for breakfast then departure towards the Gomantong caves , invaded by millions of bats and whose walls are covered with swallows' nests, a rare product sought after for its good health benefits. Free time to stroll in the neighboring village .
At the end of the day, boat to return to the lodge.

Departure by road towards the West of Sabah to reach the Sabah Tea Garden (4-5 hours drive). Stop at the village of Lunati to have your skin massaged by fish, a completely unusual experience!
Afternoon, settle into your longhouse with basic but clean comfort. This will give you the opportunity to discover the traditional way of life of the local tribes and to participate in the various activities of the village (fabric painting, blowgun shooting, fishing, etc.).
Dinner and night in the longhouse (which offers very simple comfort, but this is how the local tribes still live. You will be surprised by the original construction of these longhouses, all in length and perched on stilts a few meters high. height. At your disposal: ceiling fan, mosquito net, the bathroom and toilets are shared and have hot water.)

Wake up at dawn to witness the superb sunrise with panoramic views of Mount Kinabalu covered in fine mist. Malaysian breakfast then departure to visit a tea-making workshop. Continuation by road to Kinabalu Park, swimming in the Poring hot springs, and crossing the canopy (suspension bridge with more than 40m underfoot)! To enjoy the abundant nature of Borneo, take a guided walk through the park.
Road to Kota Kinabalu and check-in at your hotel, free evening.

After lunch, visit Kota Kinabalu and discover the main tourist sites: the University of Sabah, the Mosque, Wisma Tun Mustapha, the Sabah Museum ... After the visit, transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport then flight to Kuching. Welcome, transfer, and installation at your hotel.
Free evening. Night in Kuching.

Free morning and lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Kuching built along the Sarawak River: the cat statue which represents the city of Kuching, in Malay Kuching means "cat", Chinatown, Sarawak Museum, Tua Pek Kong temple.
Passage by car past the monuments of the city: Fort Margherita, the Mosque, the residence of the White Rajahs, the House of justice, the post office, the Square Tower ... If time permits, walk in the old city and purchase at the central market.

Departure for the Lemanak River crossing a beautiful country road (3 hours).
Free lunch en route in a local restaurant, then boat to reach your longhouse located on the banks of the river. Installation at your longhouse in Serubah or Nanga Kesit, then the discovery of the daily lifestyle of the tribe.
Possibility of participating in village activities or swimming in the river.
Dinner and traditional dances accompanied by a glass of local beer made from fermented rice, “tuak”. Night in your longhouse.

Return to Kuching with lunch en route and visit to Semenggoh , the orangutan rehabilitation center, located in the countryside. Arrival and installation at your hotel in Kuching, evening at leisure. Night in Kuching.

Departure for a guided walk in the Bako National Park, in search of endemic species: proboscis monkeys, crested and gray mustache monkeys, wild boars, flying squirrels, macaques, and different species of birds. For nature lovers, the discovery of very rich flora: carnivorous plants, mangrove forests, exotic flowers...
Picnic lunch in the park or on the beach then return to Kuching, free evening. Night in Kuching.

Departure from your hotel, transfer to Kuching airport then flight to Kuala Lumpur. Flight connection for departure. End of service.
