Malaysia tour 14 days: Magnificent Adventure

Arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport , reception, transfer and installation at your hotel in Malacca , approximately 2 hours away. Rest of the day is free to rest or explore Malacca on your own. 

Departure for a day visit to Malacca, a former Portuguese, British, Dutch, and Japanese colony. Since 2008, it has been listed as a historic World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Visit the Dutch Square with its brick-colored "stadthuys" or town hall, the clock tower and the Queen Victoria fountain, the "Christ Church", " Cheng Hoon Teng ", the oldest temple Chinese from Malaysia built in 1645 and ruins of the Portuguese colonization, the "Porta de Santiago" and the ancient fortress "A Famosa".

Morning dedicated to a city tour of Kuala Lumpur: the Royal Palace, the National Museum, the National Monument, Independence Square, the oldest Mosque in Kuala Lumpur, photo stop in front of the superb Petronas Towers... Free afternoon to continue your discovery or make some purchases. 

Departure from your hotel towards Kuala Tembeling (4.5 hours drive). On arrival, board a motorized canoe to reach the heart of the National Park (2h30). Arrival and installation at your hotel in the heart of the forest of primary trees.
Rest of the day to relax. Possibility of taking a first orientation tour in the park or a night safari to observe the wildlife and listen to the sounds of the forest. 

Free day, possibility of doing different excursions departing from your hotel: jungle trekking, crossing suspension bridges with more than 30 meters underfoot, boat to the Berkoh Falls, descent into the rapids, rafting, meeting tribes of orang asli… 

Departure from your hotel, motor canoe to reach Kuala Tembeling (2h30), then drive to the Cameron Highlands (3h30). Stop en route to visit one of the magnificent tea plantations.

Early departure for a visit to fruit and vegetable crops in the region, then drive to Penang. Stops in Ipoh to discover the rock-built Kek Lok Tong temple and in Kuala Kangsar for the Ubudiah Mosque and the Royal Palace.

Half-day tour of Georgetown, the Capital of Penang and city listed as a historic World Heritage Site by UNESCO: Fort Cornwallis, Masjid Kapitan Keling Street, better known as "Street Harmony", where the 4 main religions hang out. Indeed, on the same street are the Saint George Church, the Queen Street Mariamman Hindu temple, the Chinese temple of Kuan Yin (the oldest temple in Penang), and the Kapitan Keling Mosque.
Continuation with a visit to the State Museum, built in 1821 (collection of old photographs, maps, and other historical relics), and then the Chayamangkalaram pagoda of Burmese influence. Return to your hotel, free evening. 

Departure towards the Belum reserve (3 hours and a half drive) crossing beautiful green landscapes. Arrival and installation at your hotel.
In the afternoon, depart for a boat trip of approximately 1 hour to appreciate the calm and beauty of the site. Return to your hotel, free evening.

Free day to visit Belum Park, a diverse fauna and flora to satisfy all nature lovers, with luck you will come across the famous rafflesia! Opportunity to swim in natural waterfalls, boat on Lake Temenggor, fish and meet local tribes. 

Departure towards the east coast of the Malaysian peninsula to Kota Bharu (3h30 drive). Arrival and installation at your hotel, rest of the day at leisure.

Morning dedicated to visiting Kota Bharu: the royal residence Istana Jahar, built in 1887 and given by Sultan Mahmud II to his grandson, the Siti Khadijah Central Market, the most photographed in Malaysia. The particularity of this colorful market is that it is mainly managed by women, they are renowned for being very tough in business.
Continue to Kuala Terengganu, about 2 hours drive. Arrival and installation at your hotel, free time to relax. 

Departure for a short visit to Kuala Terengganu: stroll through the streets of Chinatown and the multicolored central market. Continuation with a visit to the Crystal Mosque located in the heart of the Islamic park in Pulau Wan Man. Discovery of a local boat manufacturing workshop on the island of Duyung and traditional “batik” fabrics.
Road to Kuantan with a stop on the way at the village of Cherating. Arrival and installation at your hotel, free evening. 

Departure from your hotel, transfer to Kuantan airport then flight to Kuala Lumpur. Departure flight connection. End of services.
