Along the way, enjoy a stop at the Cholon Market and a visit to a lacquer factory. Upon arrival in My Tho, board the RV La Marguerite and savor a delicious lunch on board. The journey begins in the afternoon, followed by a Welcome Dinner and a captivating traditional music performance.

CAI BE - SA DEC (B,L,D)

Arrive at Cai Be in the morning. After breakfast, embark on a morning junk boat tour to explore the vibrant floating market. Go ashore to visit the French Gothic Cathedral, take a leisurely walk along the riverbank, and stop by a local workshop to see the production of rice paper and coconut sweets. Return to the ship for lunch before continuing the cruise past Vinh Long Province. Arrive at Sa Dec for an afternoon walk, where you’ll visit the house of Marguerite’s Chinese lover, now a small museum dedicated to The Lover. Conclude the day with a visit to a Caodaist Temple and a stroll through the lively local market.

TAN CHAU – BORDER CROSSING (B,L,D)
Arrive at Tan Chau in the morning, a tranquil town along the main Mekong River. After breakfast, transfer to small boats for a visit to a local village. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the charming streets of this fascinating town before returning to the pier for lunch. In the afternoon, the journey continues as the ship departs for the Cambodian border. Spend the evening cruising along the wide expanse of the Mekong River en route to Phnom Penh.

PHNOM PENH (B,L,D)

Arrive in Phnom Penh in the morning, where the capital of Cambodia showcases its charming French colonial architecture along the riverside streets. Begin the day with visits to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, followed by the National Museum, renowned for its exceptional collection of Khmer crafts. Return to the ship for lunch before embarking on an afternoon excursion to Tuol Sleng Museum, formerly the S21 High School, which was transformed into a detention center during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979.

PHNOM PENH - SILK ISLAND - PHNOM PENH (B,L,D)
Set sail from Phnom Penh early in the morning and head to Silk Island. Enjoy a leisurely morning walk through the silk weaving village, including a visit to a local workshop. The excursion also features a stop at a Pagoda and a meeting with students at a primary school. Cruise past the Mekong’s picturesque villages, where life revolves around timeless traditions and vibrant fishing activities. Return to Phnom Penh in the afternoon for a visit to Wat Phnom Hill, the landmark after which the city was named. Spend some free time exploring the city at your own pace. In the evening, delight in a traditional Apsara dance performance onboard.

ANGKOR BAN (B,L,D)
Spend the morning cruising along the Upper Mekong, arriving at Angkor Ban in the serene morning light. This tranquil village, perched along the river, remains one of the rare areas untouched by destruction during the Khmer Rouge era, offering a glimpse into Cambodia’s authentic and intimate way of life. Explore the village on stilts, marveling at traditional houses, some over a century old. Return to the ship and continue the journey northward, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Mekong River.

WAT HANCHEY – KAMPONG CHAM (B,L,D)

Begin the morning with a stop at Wat Hanchey, where you'll visit a pre-Angkorian temple perched atop a hill overlooking the Mekong River. Dating back to the 8th century, the temple's ancient brick structures showcase the architectural style of the Chenla Empire, which predates the Angkorian period. Return to the ship for lunch as the journey continues toward Kampong Cham, arriving during the meal. In the afternoon, take a bus excursion to explore Wat Nokor, a unique 12th-century Buddhist temple built atop the ruins of an older structure, offering a fascinating blend of historical and spiritual significance.

KAMPONG CHAM - SIEM REAP (B,L,D)

Disembark early in the morning and begin a five-hour transfer to Siem Reap.
