After pick up at your hotel our trekking tour starts with a 30 min drive from Lashio into the surrounding hillside. We spend a half day trek through the hilly Lashio and arrive at a peaceful lake, an oasis surrounded by lush vegetation. A picnic lunch served on the way before embarking a boat trip on the calm water of the lake. Later we transfer to Laho minority village which is located deep in the Shan countryside. Here you will have overnight at local house in Laho Village

Morning after local breakfast we enjoy a leisurely walk around town to observe the daily local life. Expect a bit of attention, as you are one of the rare visitors here and surely the talk of the town. We then start the day off with a short 15 min hike to the beautiful Hidden Tiger Falls. Here you can swim & relax in the natural pools and cascades. Finally we return to the village to clean up and say our goodbye to our hosts before start off a hike through the picturesque countryside to a traditional Shan Village where we will spend the night.

Say goodbye to our host today and we then continue on a 45min drive from the village to Dark Horse Falls, one of the most beautiful nature spots in the region. Have a break stop before making a hike to the spectacular waterfall. The best time to visit the warterfall would be from Dec to May when it’s flows are not too strong for swimming. The remaining day would be spent to discover the hidden caverns, cascades and enjoy swimming in refreshing natural pools. Picnic lunch will be served by the falls. In the late afternoon we turn back to Lashio, to check in to your hotel. The night market in the center of town is highly recommended.
