After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Luang Prabang’s cultural treasures. Visit the Royal Palace Museum, followed by the historic temples of Wat Sene, Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun, and Wat Aham, each showcasing the city’s rich Buddhist heritage and architectural beauty. In the afternoon, travel to Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek, renowned for traditional weaving, handicrafts, and Saa paper production. Continue to the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ diverse ethnic groups. Stroll through the old town and visit the century-old Heuan Chan heritage house. End the day with sunset views from Mount Phousi and a visit to the vibrant Night Market.

Early this morning, witness the sacred alms-giving ceremony, a centuries-old Lao tradition where hundreds of monks collect offerings from local residents. Continue to the lively morning market for an authentic glimpse into daily life. After breakfast, visit the UXO Visitor Centre (closed weekends) to learn about Laos’ wartime history. Next, travel to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls, famous for its cascading turquoise pools and lush jungle setting. Enjoy time for swimming, hiking, or exploring nearby Ban Thapene village. Visit the Bear Rescue Centre before returning to Luang Prabang via Ock Pop Tok Living Craft Centre, renowned for traditional weaving and beautiful Mekong sunset views.

On the return journey, visit Ban Chan, a village renowned for its centuries-old pottery-making traditions. Observe skilled artisans shaping clay by hand and explore the traditional kilns used to fire their creations. After returning to Luang Prabang, transfer back to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
