Yunnan Province is located in the southwestern region of China and shares borders with Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. It is increasingly known for its ethnic, geographical and biodiversity origin, and its economy comes from mineral wealth and agricultural production. This province is the most ethnically diverse in China. It is home to 25 of the country's 56 recognized ethnic groups. Each ethnic has a unique culture and cuisine.

The capital of this province is Kunming, known as the "City of Eternal Spring" for its pleasant climate and flowers that bloom all year round. The city center is an attraction with its two squares (Dongfeng Square) and five intersecting roads (the streets of Dongfeng, Jinbin, Zhengyi, Renmin and Qingnian). Among these, Jinma Biji Square (also known as Jinbi Square) has the most eye-catching arches and elegant architectures. Qingnian, Zhengyi and Renmin Streets are the main commercial areas. The most popular pedestrian streets are Nanping, Jingxing Flower and Bird Market and Jinma Biji Fang. The city is also the focal point of minority culture in Yunnan. Some ethnic minorities such as Yi, Bai, Miao, Dai and Hani live there.
