Introduction

Located about 800km southeast of the capital of Manila, Siargao is a teardrop-shaped island in the Philippine Sea with an area of approximately 437 km2.
It is known as "the surf capital of the Philippines", but you do not have to be a surfer to admire the beautiful landscapes and natural attractions on this island. The coastline is marked by a succession of reefs, small dots and white sand beaches. Neighboring islands and islets have similar landforms.

Some surf spots not to miss:
  • Cloud 9: The most popular surf spot in Siargao and the location of some international surf competitions.
  • Quicksilver: Located next to Cloud 9, this right wave is smaller, but still breaks on the same shallow reef. It can often be cluttered.
  • Rock Island
  • G1
  • Daku Reef
