Why a local house

The same five-star hotels. Without the layers in between.

Many luxury tours of Indochina are sold by agencies abroad and operated by a local company like ours. Booking with us directly means the same hotels, cruises and private guides, with one team responsible for every detail and no mark-up added along the way.

Your travel designer lives in Vietnam, works with a trusted partner team in Siem Reap, knows the hotels room by room and is the person you message while you travel. Proposals arrive within 24 hours, and every element can be changed until it feels exactly right.

Where you stay

Updated October 2026 · Reviewed by Lily Dam, travel designer

How much does a private luxury tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos cost?

Our signature journeys start from US$3,535 per person with Luxury hotels and from US$9,082 per person with Iconic hotels, based on two travelling, international flights not included. The final price depends on your dates, length and hotel choices; your travel designer sends an exact quote within 24 hours.

When is the best time to go?

November to March suits all three countries: dry, sunny days at Angkor, cool mornings in Luang Prabang and good weather in the north and south of Vietnam. Central Vietnam is at its best from February. We plan around the weather for your dates.

How long do we need for all three countries?

Eleven days covers the highlights at a comfortable pace; fifteen days adds Hoi An and Saigon. Anything shorter works better as two countries.

How do we travel between the countries?

By short flights that we book for you: Saigon to Siem Reap and Hanoi to Luang Prabang are direct, while Siem Reap to Luang Prabang connects through Bangkok or Hanoi. A member of our team meets you on every arrival.

Do we need visas?

For Vietnam, UK citizens can visit visa-free for up to 45 days, while US, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand citizens apply online for an e-visa. For Cambodia, apply online for an e-visa before you travel or get a visa on arrival; both allow a 30-day stay. Every visitor also completes the free Cambodia e-Arrival card online in the seven days before arrival. For Laos, most visitors need a visa: apply online for an e-visa before you travel, or get a visa on arrival at Luang Prabang, Vientiane or Pakse airport. Every visitor also completes the free Lao Digital Immigration Form online in the three days before arrival. We send clear instructions for every country after booking.

Can we see Angkor without the crowds?

Yes. Your private guide times each temple around the tour groups, uses quieter gates and viewpoints, and plans Angkor Wat itself for when most visitors have moved on.

What is included?

Hotels with breakfast, private car and driver, private English-speaking guides on touring days, regional and domestic flights, experiences and entrance fees in the programme and temple passes, and 24/7 support. International flights, visas, insurance and personal expenses are not included.

How do we book and pay?

A 30% deposit confirms your journey; the balance is due 30 days before you arrive.
