Why a local house

The same five-star hotels. Without the layers in between.

Many luxury tours of Cambodia and Laos are sold by agencies abroad and operated by a local company like ours. Booking with us directly means the same hotels and private guides, with one team responsible for every detail and no mark-up added along the way.

Your travel designer works with a trusted partner team in Siem Reap, knows the hotels room by room and is the person you message while you travel. Proposals arrive within 24 hours, and every element can be changed until it feels exactly right.

Updated October 2026 · Reviewed by Lily Dam, travel designer

How much does a private luxury tour of Cambodia and Laos cost?

Our signature journeys start from US$3,535 per person with Luxury hotels and from US$9,082 per person with Iconic hotels, based on two travelling, international flights not included. The final price depends on your dates, length and hotel choices; your travel designer sends an exact quote within 24 hours.

When is the best time to go?

November to March is ideal for both countries: dry, sunny days at Angkor and cool mornings in Luang Prabang. We plan around the weather for your dates.

How do we travel between Laos and Cambodia?

By air. There is currently no direct flight between Luang Prabang and Siem Reap, so we book a connection through Bangkok, Hanoi or Vientiane, timed for the shortest day possible.

Do we need visas?

For Laos, most visitors need a visa: apply online for an e-visa before you travel, or get a visa on arrival at Luang Prabang, Vientiane or Pakse airport. Every visitor also completes the free Lao Digital Immigration Form online in the three days before arrival. For Cambodia, apply online for an e-visa before you travel or get a visa on arrival; both allow a 30-day stay. Every visitor also completes the free Cambodia e-Arrival card online in the seven days before arrival. We send clear instructions for every country after booking.

How many days should we spend at Angkor?

Three nights is the sweet spot: enough for Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei at an easy pace.

Can we add Vietnam?

Yes. Hanoi has direct flights to Luang Prabang, and Saigon to Siem Reap, so Vietnam fits naturally at either end.

What is included?

Hotels with breakfast, private car and driver, private English-speaking guides on touring days, regional and domestic flights, experiences and entrance fees in the programme and temple passes, and 24/7 support. International flights, visas, insurance and personal expenses are not included.

How do we book and pay?

A 30% deposit confirms your journey; the balance is due 30 days before you arrive.
